On the directions of the J&K High court dated 29-12-2017 (LPA-230/2012) the team of Doctors comprises Dr. Showket Ahmad Kadla (Gastro), Dr. Arshad Bashir (Ortho) and Dr. Shawnawaz (Optho) visited Central Jail Srinagar to examine Dr. Muhammad Qasim Faktoo, who is suffering from Gluacoma, severe backache and intestine ailment, after thorough examinations, the team of Doctors advised several tests. He was advised, visual analyzing to ascertain the present condition of his Gluacoma, MRI to ascertain the present nature of his L4L5 discs and endoscopy for his stomach problem. Doctors have decided to prescribe the treatment only after going through the reports of these tests. Dr. Muhammad Qasim was examined in presence of Jail Medical Superintendent in Jail hospital and Jail MS Dr. Sajad Rouf was asked to make the arrangements for conducting above said tests.(KNO)
